INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Cancunbook website, owned by Cancunbook SA de CV. By using our site, you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions. We reserve the right to modify them at any time; continued use of the site after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

TRAVEL AGENCY

An entity that contracts and/or acts as an intermediary on behalf of a Tourist User with respect to tourist services provided directly by the Supplier. In the case of Cancunbook, we act as intermediaries, offering tourist services provided directly by the Supplier through the internet.

TOURIST USER

A person who uses the website to use our tourist services or to contract tourist services provided directly by the Supplier through our intermediation.

PROVIDER

A natural or legal person who directly provides the Tourist User with the tourist services contracted, reserved, or purchased by them through our intermediation.

DECLARATIONS

By accepting these terms and conditions, you declare that you are a natural or legal person, of legal age, legally competent, and with the financial means to be bound by them. You also express your interest in acquiring the intermediation and reservation services described herein and are using Cancunbook to act as an intermediary between you and the direct providers of tourist services.

AGE AND RESPONSIBILITY

You declare that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to use our website and accept these terms and conditions. You acknowledge and accept that you will be financially responsible for all use of the site and for any legal liability arising from such use.

INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY

You acknowledge that the trademarks “Cancunbook” and “Cancunbook, SA de C.V.” These are registered trademarks for the exclusive use of Cancunbook. By way of example and not limitation, all other trademarks, logos, trade names, patents, utility models, business methods, and client portfolios that appear or function on this Site constitute registered Industrial Property rights and are the exclusive property of Altus Tours. Therefore, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, modify, transmit, or distribute such rights or the content of this Site without the prior written authorization of Cancunbook, except when you download to view and print the material contained on this Site or the material that Cancunbook sends you by email, in which cases you may use it only for your personal use.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

At Cancunbook, we value and respect the privacy of our clients. By accepting these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that you have read our privacy and security notice, which forms part of this document, and agree that its terms are reasonable. By making a reservation with us, you consent to Cancunbook and/or its third-party suppliers and distributors using your personal information in accordance with our privacy notice and for the purposes stated therein.

INFORMATION COLLECTED

To provide you with quality service, Cancunbook collects personal information such as your name, phone number, address, and email address. In some cases, financial information such as credit card number, expiration date, cardholder name, and billing address may be requested. This information is collected and stored when you make a reservation through our website, by phone, or by any other available means. Providing this information is voluntary but necessary to process your reservation and provide you with efficient service.

Additionally, we automatically collect non-personal information each time you visit our website, such as the destination selected or how you use the site. This information is obtained through cookies and is used to improve the user experience and generate internal statistics. We never share, sell, or rent our customers’ personal information to third parties, except when required by law or to process your reservation.

PROTECTING YOUR INFORMATION

At Cancunbook, we take the protection of your personal information very seriously. We have implemented security measures to prevent unauthorized access, including data encryption and code technology built to the highest industry standards. All data transmission from our site is encrypted before being sent, using SSL-3 technology.

RESERVATION POLICIES

Rates published on our site are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed until payment is received. All reservations are subject to availability. Confirmation numbers will not be issued until full payment is received.

When booking, you must provide your payment information through the payment platform, or with written or verbal authorization to charge your card. By authorizing the charge, you acknowledge our reservation and payment policies, cancellation policies, and liability waiver. Changes to existing reservations are subject to availability and any necessary rate adjustments. Once your reservation is complete, we will send you a voucher that you must present upon check-in for the reserved service.

Cancunbook’s reservation hours are from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Cancun, Quintana Roo City time. To guarantee availability, we require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for reservations and cancellations. In case of a no-show, the charge is non-refundable, but we offer the option to reschedule the missed tour for a cost of 420 pesos per person.

If necessary, or if required by the sales representative or to follow up on your reservation, you will be asked for an official ID (INE, ID card, or passport).

PAYMENT METHODS AND SECURITY

1. ONLINE PAYMENT BY CARD

For your security and peace of mind, we use the services of the most reliable online financial transaction processors: Stripe, Clip, or PayPal. (You must present an ID to board the vehicle, and it must match the person who made the purchase.)

2. CARD PAYMENT VIA CHARGE ACCEPTANCE LETTER

We will send you a charge acceptance letter that you must fill out with your card information and sign. Then, scan it and send it to your sales representative along with a copy of both sides of your card and a copy of your official ID. Sending this documentation is essential as it will be used to process the charge with the bank.
